What this site is
Gentle Rainfall is a library of short rainfall and forest ambience clips, a place to vote on your favorites, and a link to our YouTube channel of long-form rain sounds for sleep and relaxation.
Using the site
You're welcome to browse, watch, vote, and link to Gentle Rainfall freely. Please don't scrape or bulk-download the clips, republish them as your own, or try to interfere with the site or its voting (automated voting, bypassing rate limits, and the like).
Content is AI-generated
The scenes on this site are generated with AI video tools and are not recordings of real places. They're meant for relaxation and ambience.
Not medical advice
Rain sounds are meant to help you relax, but we make no claims that they treat or cure insomnia, anxiety, tinnitus, or any other condition. If you're having trouble sleeping, talk to a healthcare professional.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we aren't liable for any loss arising from its use.
